Urban Planner
Scott is a project manager and urban planner with over five years of experience, specializing in community development, urban design, transportation planning, public engagement, and First Nation consultation. He has been instrumental in several high-impact projects, including master planning and community development initiatives with the TRU Community Trust and the Ministry of Citizen Services, as well as various transportation planning projects with the Ministry of Transportation and Transit.
In his role, Scott oversees predevelopment activities such as municipal planning coordination, development of design concepts, transportation studies, engineering fieldwork, and financial analysis. Scott also leads First Nation consultation and engagement efforts, collaborating effectively with local governments, project partners, key stakeholders, and the public across the province. Scott's approach is rooted in systems thinking, leveraging his academic background, including a Bachelor of Arts in Geography, Economics, and Sustainable Development from Thompson Rivers University (2021) and a Master of Planning from the University of Waterloo (2025), to successfully deliver diverse projects.
