Meira is an experienced Project Manager and Indigenous Relations Specialist with over ten years’ experience leading multidisciplinary teams through the design, tender, and construction phases of the project lifecycle. She has experience managing projects requiring strong leadership and active negotiation skills, including bridge replacements and rehabilitation projects with complex stakeholder relationships.
As a Indigenous Relations Specialist, Meira leads indigenous cosultation activities on behalf of government clients. Her experience includes linear infrastructure improvement projects across the province valued at over $1 billion.
Meira is very effective in building and leading project teams. She successfully manages scope definition, budget and schedule, procurement, and construction contract administration, with a strong understanding and extensive experience with facilitation and negotiation. She is skilled in developing strong relationships and establishing effective communication strategies, which supports the generation of fully developed concept proposals considering scope, schedule, budget and stakeholder items. She has led numerous projects through design phase to construction, and is skilled with high level understanding of project goals and objectives. As a program manager, Meira has helped develop strategic initiatives between government agencies overseeing multi million-dollar agreements. She developed implementation plans, provided oversight and planning of internal and external communications and schedule development.
