Jonathan Melvin is a Senior Project Manager and Risk Analyst with over eight years of experience leading infrastructure projects from initiation through closeout. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with honours in Finance and Economics from Thompson Rivers University and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
He works on projects ranging in value from under $1M to over $500M, supporting government clients across various delivery models including Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, and Competitive Alliance. His expertise includes cost estimating, contingency planning, and probabilistic risk modeling, having completed Monte Carlo simulations for more than 100 projects. Jonathan regularly facilitates risk workshops, reviews risk registers and management plans, and helps establish standardized risk frameworks.
He also develops Pro Forma financial models for real estate feasibility assessments and leads risk training sessions to improve project team competency in cost-risk integration. Jonathan’s approach combines analytical rigor with practical insight, helping teams make informed decisions and manage uncertainty throughout the project lifecycle.
